GENERAL

In addition to the actual LED screen, a controller for control, a feed, a substructure for mounting and, if necessary, a light sensor are required.

But don't worry, we offer a complete package!

All LED products come from our own production. We develop and manufacture our LED screens ourselves and ensure that they meet the highest quality and safety standards.

Gold wires are of higher quality and have a longer service life. They are particularly recommended for outdoor use, as they are especially bright and remain very stable even with large temperature fluctuations. Copper wires, on the other hand, are significantly cheaper and are perfectly adequate for many applications.

If you are unsure which option is right for you, our staff will be happy to advise you!

The pixel pitch refers to the distance between two individual LEDs. The smallest pixel pitch we offer is 1.5 mm and means that the centers of two pixels are 1.5 mm apart. The smaller the pixel pitch, the clearer the image, even at a short distance from the screen.

The pixel pitch has a direct influence on the image quality and the level of detail of the display, especially when viewed up close:

Smaller pixel pitch (e.g. 1.5 mm):

    • Pixel spacing: The pixels are closer together.
    • Picture quality: Picture quality: The picture is sharper and more detailed, even when standing close to the display.
    • Areas of application: Ideal for situations in which the display is viewed from a close distance, e.g. indoors or in high-resolution applications.

Larger pixel pitch:

    • Pixel spacing: The pixels are further apart.
    • Picture quality: The image may appear less sharp when viewed up close, but it still looks good from a distance.
    • Areas of application: Suitable for outdoor areas or large venues where the audience is further away from the display.

A smaller pixel pitch therefore improves the image quality for close-up viewing and enables more detailed displays, while a larger pixel pitch is sufficient for applications with a greater viewing distance and is often more cost-efficient.

The pixel configuration describes the arrangement and composition of the sub-pixels within a pixel. Common configurations are RGB (red, green, blue) and RGBW (additional white), which influence the color display and brightness.

The pixel configuration determines how colors and brightness are shown on the display. Different configurations can influence the color representation, brightness and energy efficiency of a display.

The resolution of a display describes the number of pixels used to display images. It is specified as a combination of horizontal and vertical pixels, e.g. 1920 x 1080.

A higher resolution means more pixels and therefore a higher level of detail and sharpness of the image. This is particularly important for large displays and highly detailed content.

The right resolution for your LED screen depends on several factors, including the purpose of the application, the viewing distance and the size of the screen. Here are some recommendations:

LED screens for indoor areas:

    • Smaller pixel pitch (1.5 mm - 2.5 mm): Ideal for applications where viewers are close to the screen, such as in conference rooms, retail stores or trade fairs. A higher pixel density and therefore a higher resolution ensure sharper and more detailed images.
    • Medium pixel pitch (2.5 mm - 4 mm): Suitable for medium viewing distances, such as in large event rooms or auditoriums.

LED screens for outdoor areas:

    • Larger pixel pitch (4 mm - 10 mm): Recommended for applications with larger viewing distances, such as outdoor advertising, stadium displays or large event screens. A lower resolution is acceptable as the screen is usually viewed from a greater distance.
    • Very large pixel pitch (10 mm and more): For very large screens that are viewed from a great distance, such as display panels on buildings or in large squares.
  •

Nits are a unit for measuring the brightness of a display. A higher value means a higher brightness, which is particularly important for visibility in direct sunlight.

Brightness: Outdoor screens are brighter than indoor screens.

Pixel Pitch: Indoor screens have a smaller pixel pitch for a higher resolution.

Weather resistance: Outdoor screens are weatherproof and robust.

Viewing distance: Indoor screens are optimized for shorter viewing distances.

Robustness and design: Outdoor screens are more robust and designed for extreme conditions.

The choice between indoor and outdoor LED screens depends on the specific requirements of your project. Indoor screens are ideal for closed environments with controlled lighting and close viewing distances, while outdoor screens are designed for outdoor use in a variety of weather conditions and from greater distances.

Calibration is the process of adjusting the colors and brightness of an LED screen to ensure a uniform and accurate image display. This is important to ensure that all pixels shine evenly and the best possible picture quality is achieved.

A light sensor is a device that measures the ambient brightness and adjusts the LED screen accordingly to ensure optimum visibility and energy efficiency.

A light sensor measures the ambient lighting and automatically adjusts the brightness of the LED screen to ensure the best possible visibility, regardless of the lighting conditions.

LED screens are made up of individual modules and can therefore be produced in almost infinite sizes and formats. LCD displays are what is known as a standard TV screen and are therefore only available in certain sizes.

Non-Flammable LED Screen

Standard LED screens are mainly made of plastic. Plastic is a flammable material and also produces toxic fumes. Burning parts can also come loose, fall off and pose a risk to bystanders. As screens get bigger and bigger, the risk also increases as more energy is required and this acts as a trigger for potential fires.

According to the European standard EN 13501-1, A2-s1-d0 means that a product is non-combustible. It is also characterized by low smoke development (s = smoke) and no burning droplets within 10 minutes (d = droplets).

Our patented process with multiple protective layers (SFP) - Made in Germany - ensures maximum security without visual compromises.

In addition to the obvious advantages of non-flammability, the resulting increased safety leads to further benefits. Unlike standard screens, our LED screens can even be used in sensitive and critical areas such as stairwells, emergency exits or airports, and their classification as a building material makes them easier to use.
